SCHOOL INTEREST FORM
Greetings, Maine State Educators!
Below, you will find CMTM’s SCHOOL INTEREST FORM. This form was created to help us plan and schedule programs that best meet your school’s needs! The form takes just 5-7 minutes and will help us gauge your interest and availability. SUBMIT BY JANUARY 10, 2025, to ensure your input is included.
In 2025, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine will debut a variety of programs centering Black, Brown, and Wabanaki voices through storytelling and the arts. This important work, generously funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), supports Maine schools in integrating African American and Ethnic Studies and Wabanaki curricula, as mandated by state law.
In addition to these new offerings, we provide mainstage theatre productions and experiential natural science programs designed to inspire children to imagine and learn through play. Many of these programs can be combined with a field trip to play at the Museum & Theatre, and many can travel directly to your school!
We encourage all educators to participate—funding opportunities may be available to make participation possible.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to partnering with you in 2025!

The Institute of Museum and Library Services is the primary source of federal support for the nation's libraries and museums. We advance, support, and empower America's museums, libraries, and related organizations through grantmaking, research, and policy development. IMLS envisions a nation where individuals and communities have access to museums and libraries to learn from and be inspired by the trusted information, ideas, and stories they contain about our diverse natural and cultural heritage.
