Enriching experiences at the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine
At the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine, we're thrilled to offer enriching group visit experiences for schools and recreation groups looking to explore a world of imagination and learning. Whether you're planning a visit to a state-of-the-art facility or hoping to have us come to you with a touring theatre show or educational outreach program, we have a menu of options that are right for you.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT - QUICK FACTS
GROUP SIZE
The minimum size for most groups is 15 adults and children.
The maximum group size is dependent on the activity.
All groups maintain a ratio of at least one adult per every ten children in the group.
We recommend higher ratios of one to five in the Museum exhibits.
FOOD
Groups are welcome to eat lunch or snack out front on our outdoor Gather Lawn. Please note that CMTM does not have an indoor eating option for groups.
MUSEUM + THEATRE VISITS
Combined visits to the Museum & Theatre on the same day are welcome! We will help you book both tickets (pending ticket availability). Please let us know in the comments of the form (located on the corresponding group visit page) that you are hoping to do both on the same day.
