Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and by families living here in Maine. People create altars with pictures and objects of to honor the memories of families that are no longer with them. You are invited to draw a family portrait, share a picture, tell a story or contribute a photo honoring a family member to the Museum & Theatre altar. The altar will be up from November 1-November 21. (The Museum & Theatre cannot guarantee objects are returned to families.)
