There are two ways for a toy to become Real: through the love of a child or the help of a Toy Fairy. When a little boy loses his favorite toy, a Velveteen Rabbit stuffed with sawdust gets a chance to learn what it means to be loved. With the guidance of other toys and the wisdom of a Skin Horse, the Velveteen Rabbit is determined to become Real to his boy. But when the boy comes down with Scarlet Fever, the toys are faced with the ultimate test of bravery to save him. Will the Velveteen Rabbit find love in his heart to face the big, mean, bad Scarlet Fear dragon in time to save his boy and become a real rabbit?
