About Monday Drop-In Playwriting Workshops - Mondays - February 26 to April 15, 2024

Attention all budding playwrights! Have you always wanted to write a play and not known where to start? Have you been writing for years, and want the opportunity to share your stories and nurture your ideas? In this eight-week drop-off series, kids 10 to 14 are invited to dig deeper into the playwriting process. Come to one session, or come to them all! Bring a play you’re working on already or come up with a new idea in the workshop. Write with a partner, and only share your work if you want to. CMTM staff will help you get a play ready to submit to the CMTM Playwriting Festival in June 2024. Note that the 2024 Youth Playwriting Contest will be judged anonymously. Signing up for playwriting workshops does not guarantee that your play will be chosen.
