Message From Reba

Dear Children's Theatre Enthusiasts,

This summer, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is delighted to present two lively and music-filled productions in repertory, bringing the joy of live performance to audiences of all ages.

BABY SHARK! – A vibrant, interactive production where children can sing, dance, and move along with their favorite underwater friends. This playful and engaging experience is designed to create a sense of wonder and excitement for young audiences.

MO WILLEMS’ NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED: THE ROCK EXPERIENCE – A high-energy rock musical that celebrates self-expression and confidence. With humor, heart, and an electrifying soundtrack, this production encourages audiences to embrace individuality and creativity.

Live theatre has a unique ability to bring people together, creating lasting memories through shared experiences. It might be the wide-eyes of a child seeing a character come to life, the giggles that ripple through the audience during a funny moment, or the excitement that happens when you clap along to a favorite song. It could be a parent and child whispering to each other about what might happen next or the collective gasp of a moment of surprise. These productions are designed to spark imagination and connection, offering families moments to cherish—whether it’s the first time a young theatre-goer sees a show, a shared inside joke that lingers long after the curtain falls, or the simple joy of experiencing a story together in a space filled with creativity and wonder.

We look forward to welcoming you to the theatre this summer for a season filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
