Afternoon Art is a one-hour opportunity for in-depth creation. Each week, we’ll meet at the studio table to learn about a different artist or maker and experiment with the mediums or styles that they are known for. This week, we will explore the artworks of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch painter who changed many perspectives through his work in abstract art. Piet Mondrian created unique two-dimensional arrangements and compositions by only using what he needed to through form, color, and visual harmony. Make your own 2D composition during this session.
Free choice materials will also be available during this session.
