This is a unique opportunity for tweens to develop their skills as actors and performers with a group of like-minded theatre kids as we explore Shakespeare’s The Tempest. The Tempest is a story of a shipwreck, a magical island, beasts, fairies, and magical creatures. Tweens will explore scenes and monologues from the original text, breaking down the meaning of words and finding the rhythm of iambic pentameter. Designed for ages 9-12. Note: All text will be at an approximate 4th-grade reading level.
