Join a squad of like-minded theatre kids and work through a scripted scene of a story. Play improvisational theatre games, learn 8-25 lines, and work as a team to put on Shakespeare’s The Tempest. The Tempest is the story of a shipwreck, a magical island, beasts, fairies, and magical creatures. The theatre squad will explore Shakespeare’s language and rhythms with a group scene from The Tempest adapted just for them. Designed for ages 8-11. Note: All text will be at an approximate 2nd-grade reading level.
