Celebrate Black History Month each and follow in the footsteps of the most revolutionary masters of art! This week we are highlighting Kehinde Wiley, contemporary portrait painter. Wiley’s style is known for Black iconography and subjects inspired by classical paintings – he was also the amazing artist behind President Barack Obama’s presidential portrait! We will be creating our very own self portraits inspired by Kehinde Wiley’s work.
