This weekend, we are celebrating the lands and waters we call home. Earth Weekend is about raising awareness about the importance of protecting & preserving our environment. Programs and activities are dedicated to exploring Maine's important ecosystems as we near Earth Day on April 22. Join us in Makerspace to learn about our local watershed, meet our aquarium animals, or create something amazing with recycled materials. Included with Admission.
In addition to our Earth Weekend programming, you can expect to get your energy out in the indoor climber, attend a theatrical performance in CMTM's Maddy's Theatre (additional ticket may be required), make & create with recycled and sustainable materials in the MakerSpace, or visit our newest outdoor exhibit, Ckuwaponahkiyik Atkuhkakonol: Wabanaki Storytelling Through Art and Traditions, paying homage to the enduring traditions of the Wabanaki people, whose cultural legacy has thrived in the region now known as Maine for over 12,000 years. Each day highlights various educational, hands-on activities and exploring the exhibits. Check out our daily specials on the blackboard when you arrive!
Thank you to Bissell Brothers for their generous support of this special week.
