Family Birdhouse Making

Workshop for families with children ages 5-12.

Be a friend to the birds! Families will work as a team to drill, screw, and assemble the bluebird-approved “Xbox,” an ideal home for the native bluebird. When complete, decorate with natural, plant-based dyes. Museum educators will support proper tool use and lead discovery on additional ways you can observe and support birds in your neighborhood. Each ticket-holding family will bring home a birdhouse ready for mounting and bird family to move in!

One ticket per birdhouse. 

$50 per ticket/family. Ticket price includes the price of materials. Members receive a 10% discount.
