The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is the perfect place for indoor, educational fun this spring break.

This week, we’re celebrating the lands and waters of Maine. Programs and activities are dedicated to the scientific exploration of Maine’s ecosystems, migratory species, and our mutual relationships with all life. Earth Week is about raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet, climate change, and taking action.

Round out your Earth Week experience by attending a theatrical performance of GRUFF! An Epic Fairytale Eco-Musical (additional ticket required). In addition to our Earth Week programming, visitors can expect to get their energy out in the indoor climber and make & create in the MakerSpace.

Museums visits are scheduled in three-hour sessions from 9 am-4 pm every day (excludes Tuesday, April 18). Each day highlights various educational, hands-on activities and exploring the exhibits. Check out our daily specials when you arrive!
