The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine welcomes military members, veterans, and their families to spend a day playing and learning together. Admission is $9 per person with a valid military, military family, or veteran ID. This discount is available during all regular operating hours, not just Veterans Day weekend.

The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine will be closed from September 9 to September 13, 2024, for our seasonal summer reset. We will be as busy as bees refreshing and cleaning to get ready for the fall season.

The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is the perfect place for indoor & outdoor educational fun this April Vacation Week! Museum visits run in three-hour sessions from 9 am to 4 pm every day. New this year: open Tuesday during April Vacation Week! Each day highlights a variety of free, educational, hands-on activities in addition to exploring the exhibits. Check out our daily specials on the chalkboard when you arrive!

The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine offers the ideal indoor, educational fun destination during this mid-winter break. Open every day from February 16 to February 25, 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm. Note: some exhibits are closed during specific sessions for rest and cleaning. Check individual sessions for details.
