Congratulations to our very own Emma Hindall, who is now a published illustrator and the illustrator of our A Year with Frog and Toad image! Emma works at the Museum & Theatre as a Visitor Engagement Assistant, helping to greet visitors, check families in, and stamp kids' hands as they enter the museum. She reflects on the inspirations behind her work, her artistic process, and how working at the Museum & Theatre has impacted her illustrations.

Read MoreThe Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is pleased to announce they have been approved to receive an American Rescue Plan grant in the amount of $150,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to help the arts and cultural sector recover from the pandemic. The Museum & Theatre will use this funding for its arts education mission by supporting arts educators, visiting artist stipends, and marketing of art programming. The Museum & Theatre is one of seven recipients in Maine.
