Celebrate the New Year with a special indoor seaside celebration! Meet real sea creatures like sea stars and anemones, create a sea star wand in the MakerSpace, show us your best dance moves as we dance to summertime hits, and more.

Then, Countdown to 2023 at 10am, 11am, and noon with a special Sea Star Drop in Maddy’s Theatre. 

This is a block-out date for CMTM members. Members receive a 10% discount. For more information about block-out dates, visit our membership page.

There are days every year that are particularly popular with our entire community. In order to ensure that all visitors have a chance to visit on these special days, and acknowledging that members often have increased flexibility on other dates, we have marked these times as ‘member block out dates’. On these special dates, members are welcome to attend but will receive a 10% discount instead of their normal free admission.

Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation to the celebration. This winter, CMTM is partnering with Wayside Food Programs and HP Hood to bring nutritional food to Maine families.

If you or a member of your party become ill prior to your scheduled visit, you book the wrong time block by mistake, or your plans otherwise change and you cannot visit, please call the Museum & Theatre at 207-828-1234 to release your tickets.
