Grab your magnifying glass! Today we become detectives and use our senses to look, listen, and even smell clues to discover the mystery water creatures!

Science for Tots is a weekly gathering of families with children five and under to explore many aspects of science through an early childhood lens. Educators use play, drama, movement, and sensory investigations to explore topics from as small as microbes to as large as whales! Each interactive program could include science experiments, meeting live animals, and art making. These activities, carefully crafted for our youngest visitors, will have children intrigued, giggling, sharing, and engaged in playful learning. Come for one week or join together weekly to grow our community and future environmental stewards.

Color-changing Playdough: Drop off Workshop for Ages 5-12

Measure and mix a batch of your own thermochromatic playdough that changes color with the heat of your hands. Ticket holders participate in an hour-long drop-off workshop full of experiments with heat and leave with their own fist-sized ball of color-changing playdough.

$40 per child (Museum & Theatre members receive a 10% discount).
