Museum & Theatre Expands Ticketing to Reach More Families

Starting Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine will be open from 9 am - 4 pm Wednesday to Monday and closed on Tuesdays. Visitors will be able to reserve tickets for a 3-Hour Museum Visit starting on the hour between 9 am and 4pm (i.e. 9 am-12pm, 10 am-1pm, etc). This expansion allows us to streamline our ticketing and check-in process, and reach even more children and families with the power of play. 

Single ticket prices will continue to be $15 per person for everyone 18 months and older. We continue to require all visitors to reserve tickets on our website in advance. Tickets may also be reserved by calling the Welcome Desk at 207-828-1234. We also continue to host Thursday and Sunday Masks Required sessions regardless of CDC Community Spread Levels. These sessions will continue to be from 9am - 12pm. Masking after 12pm on Thursdays and Sundays will follow current CDC guidelines.  

Member Mondays will be paused during the summer months and return in September. Traditionally Members Mondays have been offered September-May, and this year Member’s Mondays will end May 23rd and resume on September 12th. Members are invited to celebrate the last Members’ Monday with an Atrium Mural Retrospective in the Outdoor Adventure Playground, featuring the collective artwork of all the group murals that were created this year by members!
